Utility Security Deposits can tie up several thousands of dollars but are not always needed.

Amounts are based on estimated consumption. In reality such security deposits are negotiable using particular precedents. AWL has negotiated the waiving of substantial security deposits from coast to coast. In one such example unnecessary deposits of $24,000 were waived.
